Peerless by Jiehae Park

Peerless follows the intriguing, outrageous, and slightly horrifying tale of the lengths two high-achieving teenage girls will go to score the ultimate golden ticket: admission into The College. The writing is sharp and snappy, the action absurd, and the comedy all the better for it. It is only so right that the shadowy, dire echoes of Shakespeare’s Macbeth are retold through the medium of high schoolers.

Dooley’s Players 2019

In college, this play was the first one I ever directed on stage with the student theater organization at Emory, Dooley’s Players. Evidently, since the beginning of my journey as a director, this play has captivated me, and it has seen me through immense growth as a director, educator, and artist. Below, you will find the production photos from the first production.
